Sinclair has posted a job for a News Director which the company claims will “lead one of the strongest local newsrooms in the country.”

In case you’re wondering where this leading newsroom is located, it is in Portland, OR.

Sinclair wants a new ND hired at KATU.

Current KATU News Director Yvonne Simons has held the job for almost 6 years. She has not mentioned anything about an exit on social media.
