First, you can’t live in DC on $20 bucks and hour.

Second, Washington, DC is a top 10 market. Why would a “Breaking News Reporter” be an “entry level” job in this size market.

Journalism is dying, because companies like Nexstar want to pay shit money, and hire inexperienced people for jobs.
