Denver Anchor Retires....Again

Denver Weatherman Ed Greene has retired….again.

Greene signed off from Tegna’s KUSA, but has also worked at KCNC, KMGH, and KOA radio.

The Denver Post writes that the 47-year veteran of Denver’s news scene broke into broadcast journalism in radio at KIMN’s Mix 100 in 1972, joined KMGH as a weather and news anchor in 1976 and jumped to KCNC 1981.

When Greene was phased out of KCNC in 2017, the weather forecaster retired for the first time.

At the time, Greene’s 40 years of broadcast experience in Denver made him the longest-serving weather forecaster and on-air broadcast personality in Denver history.

He joined KUSA back in 1996 and then retired again, before coming back to KUSA in 2021.

He claims that this retirement is his last, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
