So, here you go:

The conspiracy theories about the Trump shooting started almost before Donald Trump put his shoes back on after the shooting.

While we live in a time when you have come to expect these tinfoil-hat-wearing people to start spouting their theories about what “really” happened, you would hope that members of the media would not be those people.

Yet, here’s Nexstar’s News Nation Anchor Adrienne Bankert helping to stir the pot.

She wasn’t the only media member doing so, but the irresponsibility is off the charts.

Cable news is the most responsible for the huge political divide in this country. The cable news talking heads are paid big bucks to get people riled up, and that brings in ratings.

The younger people entering TV news are increasingly taking their cues from cable news. They see the talking heads get the attention and want some of that.

They know that their klout will rise if they help push a conspiracy.

Don’t play into that game.

This country is in desperate need of real Journalists; we have more than enough conspiracy peddlers.
