Understandably, the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump was extraordinary in nature, and events unfolded and developed rapidly.

Yet hours later, NBC News continued to show footage that shows an individual giving an obscene gesture to the camera.

I get it in the early moments of coverage, but as the hours went on, NBC could have edited the clip, before this jerk shot the bird.
