Cincy Anchor Accused of Attacking Elderly Couple

There is a story coming out of the Scripps legacy station in Cincinnati that is getting all kinds of attention.

FTVLive’s inbox was blowing up with emails about the incident that seems to involve WCPO Chief Meteorologist Steve Raleigh.

According to posts, Carter Raleigh, the 28 year old son of Steve Raleigh was involved in a traffic incident with nearly 80 year old man, Douglas Morrow. The crash happened in a parking lot according to the Cincinnati Police Department’s traffic crash report.

Morrow’s daughter made this post to social media.

The daughter posted video of the incident and several people on social media sites are alleging that one of the men in the video appears to be Steve Raleigh.

Morrow-Stickrod’s 76-year-old mother and father are both seen lying on the pavement, with blood visible next to her mother’s head.

WCPO General Manager Jeff Brogan released this statement.

Steve Raleigh has since deleted his social media accounts and has not been charged or named in the incident.

It should be pointed out that Steve’s son Carter is the grandson of former Hamilton County sheriff and attorney Simon L. Leis, Jr.

The 76-year old woman suffered a concussion, fractured skull, brain bleed, a contusion on the back of her head and cuts and bruises to her arms and legs. The nearly 80-year-old man also suffered a concussion.

Cincinnati Police say they are still investigating the incident, but others are claiming the cops are dragging their feet, due to the fact as who was involved.
