That Might Be A Bit of a Stretch

WJRT (Flint) Local Sales Manager Jacques Holbrook posted this to his social media.

That’s a nice thought, but WJRT is owned by Allen Media, who just laid off three people at the station, eliminated six open positions, and cut the company’s match to the 401K.

This all happened without Allen Media CEO Byron Allen saying anything, or even sending an email to the employees.

I’m not sure now is the best time for asking people to have “pride” in the station.

Just saying….
