Sinclair and Tegna DC Stations Go Off the Air

Two DC stations are going off the air this week.

Tegna’s WUSA and Sinclair’s WJLA are expected to go dark. While some might consider this wishful thinking, it is not permanent.

A local radio station that shares the tower with WUSA/WJLA is having transmission problems, and engineers need to shut down the tower while they try to fix the problem.

Cable signals will not be impacted by the outage.
