St. Louis Anchor Claims to be Broke

Kent Ehrhardt joined KMOV (St. Louis) as Chief Meteorologist back in 1998.

You would think that anyone working as the Chief Met for that long, in a market like St. Louis would be doing well financially.

But, Ehrhardt claims to be broke.

As the stock market passed 40,000, a guy posted about the history-making moment.

Ehrhardt responded that despite stock soaring, he’s broke.

Maybe Ehrhardt is a better forecaster than he is an investor. Or, perhaps he’s trying to make some political statement, which his boss should be calling him out on.

Maybe Gray pays really bad, or perhaps Ehrhardt blows all his money.

Whatever the reason, I don’t think his post makes him look as good as he thinks it does. Or the station he works for.
