Surprise! New Boss Named at CBS Detroit

CBS has named Jennifer Lyons the interim President and GM of WWJ, the struggling CBS O&O in Detroit.

Lyons is currently the GM of WBBM in Chicago and will continue in that role.

Lyons is a top notch boss that has worked at WGN (Chicago) as News Director. She then became the head of Nexstar’s News Nation before resigning for “ethical reasons.”

She then moved to head up WBBM.

Now, she’s being tasked with trying to right the ship in Motown.

It’s going to be a tough job, but CBS has made a good choice in Lyons.
