Longtime LA Entertainment Reporter Sam Rubin has passed away.

Rubin worked for KTLA and had been at work yesterday, where he talked to actress Jane Seymour.

Station insiders tell FTVLive that Rubin called out sick last night or early this morning, and then word came that he had died.

It is suspected that he suffered a heart attack.

Rubin was 64 years old.
