Scripps Suits Raking It In
/Looking at the latest proxy filing by Scripps, you will be happy to know that none of the suits at Scripps will be going on food stamps.
Scripps CEO Adam Symson brought in over $5.3 million. His salary was up over 2022, but his stock awards took a big hit. Then again, with Scripps stock trading just over $3 bucks a share, that should be expected.
It was interesting to see that COO Lisa Knutson used the company aircraft for over $100,000 dollars in personal travel.
She tooled around on the company plane more than Symson, who burned just $75,000 bucks for personal travel.
I’m thinking about a trip to Puerto Rico next month, which will cost me $115. But that’s because I’m leaving the FTVLive jet in the hangar and flying commercial.
Scripps made millions of dollars in cuts, but looking at the proxy, I think the suits are still doing well.
