It's a Dumpster Fire

Insiders at Tegna’s WMAZ (Macon, Georgia) are describing the place as a “dumpster fire.”

“The station is “dominant #1 in the market, but morale ranks last,” said one station insider.

Longtime Anchor/Reporter Suzanne Lawler has decided to leave the station after 3 decades.

“Management has kept the departure a secret (until last week - and even that was a 5 second mention during a meeting.)  They didn’t do a send off,  immediately removed her bio from the website & acted like she never existed,” said a station source.

The woman put in 30 years of her life and was basically told “don’t let the door hit you on the way out.”

Tegna should do better.
