When You Swipe the Story From the Competition

Viewers watching Nexstar’s WOOD-TV might have been surprised to see the station using video from Sinclair’s WWMT.

Here’s a screenshot, check the top right:

What’s odd, is that this appears to be a run of the mill press conference, not some breaking news event.

So, did WOOD-TV just decide they wouldn’t send anyone and just swipe the work of their competition?

What if WOOD just did this will all their stories, think how much money Nexstar would save by not sending out news crews.
