No! That Did Not Happen...

NBC’s KXAS (Dallas) posted a story on the stations website with this headline.

When I saw the headline, I figured the car thief stole a tricked out Mclaren, but it turns out it was a 2018 Black Honda Accord.

Now, I am in no way a car expert, but I can tell you with complete confidence that a Honda Accord is not hitting 260 MPH.

I searched the web and found out that a 2018 Honda Accord tops out at about 125 MPH, a looooong way from 260.

Yet there in the story, the NBC O&O in Dallas says:

The suspect could laso say he is the President of the United States, but I’m guessing you would check that out before putting it in the story.

Criminal suspects says many things, it doesn’t mean the media should report on something so prosperous as a 2018 Honda Accord going 260 MPH.

Just saying….
