Headed Down the Road

WNEP Met Valerie Smock has left the Tegna station to head down the road to Nexstar’s WBRE/WYOU.

Tegna has lost several on-air talent at stations. Some have told FTVLive that when their contracts come up for renewal, Tegna has been making low-ball offers.

I'm not sure if that is what happened here, but clearly, Smock felt Nexstar had a better deal.
