What The Hell?
/As nasty weather rolled through Dallas last week, The Firm’s KDFW sent Reporter Tisia Muzinga out into the storm to do a live shot that had nothing to do with the weather.
This live hit could have easily been done from the studio, or at least indoors.
Calling all journalists. THREAD. This is RIDICULOUS. A reporter who has a story that has NOTHING to do to do with bad weather is FORCED to do a live report in the RAIN. KDFW did send Reporter Dan Godwin out to cover the storm.
But, he got to do it from the comfort, inside the news vehicle.
She was in the rain & her colleague got to report on the heavy RAIN from INSIDE a warm car. Message to @FOX4 producer stop putting reporters out in the field just for the sake of a “live shot.” Have some compassion. So, in conclusion…
The young Reporter was made to stand in the rain, covering a story that had nothing to do with the weather.
The older Reporter covered the weather without stepping outside.
Seems about right….
