Earlier this week, Sean Hannity was interviewing Guardian Angels head Curtis Sliwa live when Silwa’s thugs started beating up a guy.

Hannity asked the camera to show more, and Sliwa told Hannity the man was a migrant who was shoplifting. Sliwa told Hannity, “Let’s just say we gave him a little pain compliance. His mother back in Venezuela felt the vibrations. He’s sucking concrete, the cops scraped him off the asphalt.”

Hannity lapped it up like a puppy.

There was one small problem that Hannity addressed a couple of nights on his Fox News show.

“Now before we go tonight, I want to talk about Curtis Sliwa’s appearance on this show on Tuesday night, when members of the Guardian Angels stopped a man and the police were called. Now, Curtis said that the man was a migrant and that he was shoplifting. Fox News has since spoken to the NYPD and apparently the statements made by Curtis that the man is a migrant is not true and the man was given a summons for disorderly conduct. Today, Curtis Sliwa acknowledged to the Washington Post that the man has not been charged with shoplifting and Curtis said in part, quote, “I shouldn’t have been listening to the crowd. That was my mistake. I should not have had that knee-jerk reaction.”

It appears that the Fox News lawyers stepped in and told Hannity he better issue a correction.

In the past, Fox News has told untruths on the air, and it cost them nearly a billion dollars.

While Hannity tried to put the blame on Silwa, a real Journalist, which Hannity is not, would have known better as the incident was happening.

You can’t let some vigilante control the dialogue.
