He Was Fired The Day the Story Aired

WTVG Photographer Phil Antry made news on the Gray station in Toledo.

But, before the story aired on the news, sources tell FTVLive that Antry was fired from his job.

WTVG reported that Antry, a former Little League football coach, is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the league for personal use. Antry is accused of improperly spending the organization’s money. Police charged Antry with Grand Theft on January 11th. He’s accused of stealing $20,000 worth of league funding and using it for personal use. He pleaded not guilty on Jan. 24.

The station very briefly mentions that he had worked for WTVG, saying, “Antry is a former 13abc employee.”
