Cleveland Anchor's Mea Culpa

Last week, FTVLive told you that WKYC Anchor Hollie Strano was returning to the air at the Tegna station after being arrested on Thanksgiving for driving drunk and crashing her car.

Strano showed back up on the air on Saturday and gave her mea culpa about her arrest.

Not everyone is buying the apology….

Ss someone that lost a family member to a drunk driver, I’m going to bite my tongue and not weigh in.

FTVLive also hears that there is talk at WKYC that the Tegna station is looking at a special highlighting Strano’s "brave journey".

My guess is that is what you’ll see in May, when she will also be put back on the weekday newscasts.
