Confusing...
/I know the messages from Scripps can be confusing, but I thought that Scripps News was trying to be a national news outlet.
In all the years watching national news on NBC, ABC, or CBS, how many times did you see Lester Holt, Tom Brokaw, Peter Jennings, or David Muir give a commentary?
But yet, here’s Scripps News Anchor Del Waters giving his thoughts on the shooting in Kansas City.
While what he said was solid, why is the news anchor saying it?
Doesn’t Scripps have people in KC that can talk to the people that live in Kansas City?
Why are we listening to an anchor hundreds of miles away telling his personal story?
This is not Journalism, and a company like Scripps should know that.
“There is not a single cemetery in this country where there is a “D” or an “R” next to the name. Only the name, the date their life began, and the date it ended.”
