The Newscast is Previously Recorded

There was a time when news crews sat around the station till the wee-hours of the night, to put on a live newscast after a long sporting event.

Not anymore.

Sinclair’s WICS’s (Springfield, IL) late newscast on Friday night was delayed about an hour, due to a football game.

Taking the cheap way out, the Sinclair station pre-recorded the newscast.
