Cops clamped the cuffs on a man that they said attacked an employee from KKCO in Grand Junction.

Grand Junction Police Department say they responded to a report of an assault in progress outside the station.

Patrick Egan faces charges of bias-related crimes. Cops say that Egan rolled down his window and shouted at the KKCO employee, “Are you even a U.S. Citizen? This is Trump’s America now! I’m a Marine and I took an oath to protect this country from people like you!” according to the arrest affidavit from the incident.

The KKCO employee was evaluated on site when officers arrived and Egan was arrested and taken to the Mesa County Jail.

KKCO did not comment on the incident.
