Swing and a Miss in Portland

Nexstar’s KOIN (Portland) was checking in during the newscast on the 40th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Courthouse Square in downtown Portland, promising viewers they would show the lighting of the tree as it happened.

Well, that didn’t happen, as the tree lighting happened while the station was in a commercial break.

And if you know Nexstar, there was no way they were going to give up the ad break.
