FTVLive told you how Graham’s KPRC hired intern Ricky Munoz as a Reporter. Munoz had interned just a few months before he was hired on at the station.

Some station insiders contacted FTVLive, wondering why a their station would hire someone with no experience, while others paid their dues to make it to a top 10 market?

We just watched one of Munoz’s reports (you can see it here) in which he turned a “viral video” from the internet into a package.

What was odd, was Munoz starts off his package saying, “Hey, what’s up everybody, what’s going on, it’s Ricky Munoz at KPRC 2 News…”

So, we’re starting packages like their cellphone calls now?

But what was stranger was Munoz don’t look at the camera during the stand up, but off to the side (again, you can watch it here). While looking at the screen might be fine for a selfie, a Journalist should be looking at the camera.

I mean, I guess this is what you get when you hire someone with no experience.
