I Hate This...

FTVLive told you a while back that WJAX/WFOX General Manager Bob Longo was leaving the Cox station in Jacksonville.

Longo, a longtime news guy, is retiring, and Cox has found his replacement.

Sadly, it’s a sales guy. Omesh Somaru will take over for Longo at the first of the year. Somaru was on the sales team and has a long history in sales.

While, good for him, I hate seeing some sales geek running the station. Most (if not all) have no understanding of news.
