Not the Right Place for This....

News Nation Anchor Natasha Zouves said goodbye to her godfather who passed away during her show on the cable network.

Certainly, it is sad to lose a family member, but, was this the appropriate place to do this?

Zouves is not on a local channel in some small town. She’s a network news anchor whose responsibility is to report the news on a national level.

Her godfather was not nationally known and it was certainly odd that a cable news anchor is talking about the death of a family member. Can everyone at News Nation take up part of the newscasts to talk about an uncle, aunt, or another family member that died.

I’m sorry for her loss, but this was neither the time or place and a manager at News Nation should have explained that to her.
