Trump Backs Out on 60 Minutes Interview

Clearly, there is nothing, NOTHING, that scares Donald Trump and his campaign staff more than being fact-checked.

CBS says that Trump agreed to be interviewed for 60 Minutes but has since backed out of the interview.

But, Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said that Trump backing out is “fake news.” Cheung said there were “initial discussions about an interview, but nothing was ever scheduled or locked in.”

“They also insisted on doing live fact-checking, which is unprecedented,” Cheung said.

What I don’t understand is that if you tell the truth and don’t lie, you will not be fact-checked. It seems so simple, yet Trump loses it, every time someone mentions or tries to fact-check him.

If you don’t lie, you don’t need to be fact-checked.

End of story.
