Yesterday, FTVLive reported that KPNX (Phoenix) Sports Reporter Luke Lyddon announced he is leaving the Tegna station and the TV news business altogether.

Lyddon made a long post on social media saying he was looking for a better work/life balance.

He started his post by saying, “After much thought and reflection, l've decided to embark on a new chapter in my career.”

But after seeing this internal memo sent to the staff at KPNX, I’m not sure old Luke is giving us the full story.
