In 2022, Reporter Anchor Frank McCaffery ran for Congress as a Republican.
He lost the Republican primary to Mayra Flores. Flores won a special election and briefly served in Congress.
Now, she's running for Congress again. She recently made headlines for swiping photos of Mexican food from social media sites and passing them off as her own.
Nexstar’s KVEO sent a Reporter to interview her about the controversy.
Who was the Reporter?
None other than Frank McCaffery, who now works for KVEO in the Rio Grande Valley.
Why is KVEO allowing Frank McCaffrey, a former Republican candidate, to interview Mayra Flores, a current Republican candidate?!
The Republicans aren’t complaining; they just had one of their own interview one of their candidates.
Why would KVEO and Nexstar allow this?
