The CW Struggles Under Nexstar

In the first year under the wing of Nexstar, The CW lost over 20% of its viewers.

You might be saying, yeah, so many of the networks lost viewers.

While true, none of them lost as much as the Nexstar-run network.

NBC: 4.537 million (-12%)
CBS: 4.508 million (-12%)
ABC: 3.888 million (+1%)
Fox: 3.353 million (+4%)
Univision: 1.265 million (-4%)
CW Network: 453,000 (-21%)

Of the five major broadcast networks, the CW Network has the most significant year-over percentage drop in audience, according to Nielsen.

Nexstar promised big things when it took over the CW, but the only movement has been backward.
