Look Who's Resurfacing in Salt Lake City

Back in January, in a Patron Only story, we told you that back in late September, Sinclair's KTUL (Tulsa) had hired former KING (Seattle) Meteorologist Chris Nunley to be the station's new Chief Met.

Shortly after, Nunley started working at KTUL. Sinclair announced that they were shutting down the newscasts in Tulsa and moving the operation to be hubbed out of Oklahoma City.

Many staffers at KTUL were kicked to the curb, but it was reported that Nunley would stay on as Chief Met.

But, checking the Sinclair job postings, we saw the company was looking for a new Chief Met in Tulsa.

That meant Nunley was gone from his job after just 3 or 4 months.

Nunley took to social media, saying that starting next month, he’ll be working at Scripps-owned KSTU in Salt Lake City.

This guy is going from Sinclair to Scripps. Damn! what do the media gods have against him?
