Cleveland Anchor Starts Reputation Rebuilding Tour

FTVLive told you about the November arrest of WKYC (Cleveland) Anchor Hollie Strano after crashing her car.

Strano was charged with drunk driving and pled guilty to the charges against her. She’s been off the air at the Tegna station since her arrest.

But, it appears that she has started her reputation-rebuilding tour. Strano took to social media to post about what she’s been doing since being arrested.

She writes that she has spent a lot of time in “grandpa Sam’s chair. This is a place where I’ve spent many hours thinking, crying, reflecting.”

She goes on to say, “I am deeply remorseful for what happened the evening of November 23, 2023. As tragic as it was and as cliche as it may sound, I believe that had to happen to me to put me on this healing journey of sobriety and introspection.”

She finishes the post with, “I miss you so much and l look forward to seeing you again.”

Now, if I were a betting man, I would wager that you will see Strano return to the Tegna station as the February ratings get started.

I know that sounds cynical, and surely, a TV station would not use the arrest and rehab of one of their anchors to try to goose the ratings in the book.
