Sinclair Boss Buys the Baltimore Sun

You can expect the Baltimore Sun to start leaning further to the right.

The newspaper was sold by hedge fund Alden Global Capital to David Smith, the executive chair of Sinclair.

What is interesting is that the Baltimore Sun reported on the August 1996 arrest of Smith in a prostitution sting. Smith was charged with committing an "unnatural and perverted sex act" (oral sex) in a Sinclair company vehicle.

Below is a screenshot of a portion of the Sun story.

How long do you think it will take until that story disappears from the Sun website?
