You Didn't Die, Here's Your T-Shirt

Scripps-owned KNXV (Phoenix) handed out T-shirts to the staff, that said “I Survived July 2023.”

The shirts are about the brutal July heat that pushed temps in Arizona over 110 degrees for the entire month.

Sadly, more than 200 people died due to the extreme heat.

Scripps did not give those people a T-shirt. Apparently, you had to work at the station and also live through the heatwave.
