Headed to the DOD

WUSA (DC) Investigative Reporter Nathan Baca told his co-workers that he was leaving the Tegna station and leaving TV news altogether.

Baca is headed to the Department of Defense as a Communications Officer.

I was a college sophomore when 9/11 happened. My friends and fellow students had to make life-changing decisions that year, whether to sign up for service to our country. I had made a promise to my parents to graduate college since they didn’t have to chance to. I’m proud of that decision, and the impact I’ve been able to make as an investigative reporter these past 20 years. Sometimes, life gives you a second chance. I’m lucky that I’m able to, in some small way, support our country in sharing my skills to support the Defense Department’s mission,” Baca told FTVLive.

His past stations include KMIR, KESQ, KLAS, WBNS, WJLA and WUSA.
