New News Boss Hired in the Twin Cities

CBS’s WCCO has hired a new News Director.

Brian Nemitz makes a big jump from WLOS in Asheville to the Twin Cities. Nemitz has been WLOS since 2018.

CBS PR used to send FTVLive press releases of new hires but no longer does so. I guess they want people to suck up to them and FTVLive doesn’t play that game.

An employee at WLOS tells FTVLive that Nemitz is pretty easygoing and feels he’ll be a good fit in Minneapolis.
