ND is Bumped Up to the Corner Office

WCNC (Charlotte) News Director Carrie Hofmann is making a drop in market size, but moving up in position.

Hofmann is becoming the General Manager at WLTX in Columbia, SC. Both station are owned by Tegna.

Hofmann has held a number of jobs in the newsroom on her way up, including Assignment Editor, Producer, EP, and the Deuce.

“I am honored for this opportunity to build on the strong foundation WLTX has created during the past twenty plus years,” Hoffman said. “Viewers’ needs are constantly evolving, and our challenge is to meet them with what they need on whatever platform they choose.”
