Here We Go...

Science shows us that planet earth is heating up. The waters off the Florida coast have never been measured at a higher temperature than they have been this summer.

Up until now, there has never been a extreme heat advisory issued for central Florida. We have had several warnings issued since August 9th.

Southern California had it’s first hurricane warning issued since 1939.

Climate change is not responsible for all weather events, but to deny it is happening is just ignorant.

I never thought that trying to save the planet would become a political football, yet here we are.

Some TV Mets are trying to pour cold water on the very real fact that climate change is happening.

These are some of the people I would never trust with weather information.

But hey, that’s just me.

Yes, hurricanes happen, I agree.

But maybe this last hurricane might have been just a tropical storm, hadn’t it passed over waters that are some of the warmest in our planet’s history?

I think those who are downplaying climate change are just getting wrapped up in the politics of it all.

Yes, all of these Mets will be dead long before climate change actually changes how people must live. But what about your kids, or your kids, kids?

Are you really so wrapped up in making a political stance that you don’t care what we leave future generations?

BTW- Here is someone who agrees with the weather folks above. I rest my case.
