The Staff Had No Clue

The Firm named Amber Eikel the new GM of KCPQ (Seattle).

Eikle takes over for Sheila Oliver, who is headed to The Firm’s WFLD in Chicago.

Eikle comes to Seattle from Fox O&O KTVU in Oakland.

What is interesting and typical Firm like behavior, many staffers at KTVU had no clue that Eikle was leaving, until they saw the story on the internet.

“Amber has been on the schedule on “vacation” all week. We’re told she *may* not even come back into the building to clean out her office,” said a KTVU staffer to FTVLive.

You got to love the communications business in which there is no communication.
