Crossing the Street Away From Scripps
/As Scripps continues to try and reinvent TV news (with no Anchors or Photographers), their Tallahassee station lost a big one.
Alison Posey has been doing sports for Scripps-owned WTXL for the better part of a decade. As the company moved away from Anchors and sports people, Posey was offered to stay on at the station as an MMJ.
Posey had no urge to work in news when her passion is sports, so she left the station and crossed the street to WCTV, which made room for her.
WCTV is the blowtorch in Tally and just beefed up its sports department by adding a popular personality that has been around the market for 10 years.
I’m not sure this is what Scripps had hoped would happen.
This community means everything to me, and I'm so thankful for the opportunity to be able to stay at home and continue doing what I love.
