Nexstar announced the hiring of Rick Boone as News Director at WHNT in Huntsville a year ago.

But Boone has already left the station and landed another ND job at WXXV in Biloxi. It is a drop of almost 80 markets for Boone.

Insiders at WHNT say that Boone was nudged towards the exit in Huntsville and quickly lined up a job in Biloxi.

Boone made FTVLive back when he was the ND at KARD/KTVE (West Monroe, LA) and sent out a very odd email to the staff.
