No More Getting Up at 2 AM

WCCO morning Met Riley O'Connor is leaving the CBS station and his reason for doing so is simple. “I've made a career change and it's going to help me be with my family more and not get up at 2 a.m., so I will be getting some good sleep so I'm happy about that," O’Connor said "It's very hard. You guys are my family as well and it's been an absolute pleasure and wonderful to be here."

He still has plans to work part-time for the station, but he says he has reasons to make the change. "My life's changed a bit. I'm taking a turn and I'm going to kind of roll with the punches and see what happens," said O'Connor.

He joined the station back in 2019 and now WCCO is looking for his replacement.
