Latest News?

Looking at the website of WABG (Greenwood, Mississippi) and their “latest news” I wonder what defines both “latest” and “news” for the station.

Apparently, Cher launching her own Gelato brand is a bigger enough story to add it twice to the “latest news.”

But, a number of these stories make me go hmmmm?
