Gray’s KVVU (Las Vegas) is being tight with reporter staffing when it comes to weekend local news coverage.

The station had Shawna Khalafi pull double-duty as a daytime Reporter for a structure fire on the Las Vegas Strip, and then turn around and anchor the evening newscast on the same day.

Meanwhile, in the same newscast, the station assigned two reporters to cover a charity softball game between the NHL Vegas Golden Knights and the NFL Las Vegas Raiders.
