The big gossip across the pond is the fact that the BBC has suspended a leading presenter who is alleged to have paid a teenager for sexually explicit photos.

Reports say that the anchorman paid a teen thousands of dollars for the explicit photos over the course of three years.

"This is a complex and fast moving set of circumstances and the BBC is working as quickly as possible to establish the facts in order to properly inform appropriate next steps," the BBC said in a statement.

The network has not named the anchor and other male anchors at the BBC have taken to social media to tell viewers they are not the pervert anchor.
