Charlotte’s WBTV announced that Nia Harden is joining the team.

Harden will be taking on the role of live traffic reporter on WBTV This Morning. Additionally, she will co-anchor WBTV News at Noon alongside John Carter.

"It's an honor to join WBTV, a station dedicated to serving the Charlotte community and beyond. North Carolina holds a special place in my heart. It's where my husband and I bought our first home, where my daughter attends college, and where my husband serves in the Army. I can't wait to connect with our amazing viewers in and around the Queen City,” Harden said.

WBTV's Vice President and General Manager, Michelle Robinson Harper, expressed confidence in her abilities, stating, "Nia brings a wealth of experience with her, and her energy is incredible. She's passionate about helping others, and we know viewers will love starting their day with her each morning."

She comes from WRAL in Raleigh.
