Fox Weather Met Brian Donegan was not the least bit happy that an Amber Alert was pushed out early in the morning.

I’m sure that the family that is missing their child should have known you were sleeping and waited for Brian to give them the all clear to send the message.

Some advice for Brian:

First, you know you can turn off those alerts in your phone if you don’t want to receive them.

Second, Amber Alerts are most effective when the notice of the missing child can be broadcast ASAP. If they waited until you got up, the child could be across state lines by then.

Third, if this was your family member, would you want the authorities to wait until everyone was awake? Or would you want these people doing everything they can to find your loved one?

Fourth, You could have turned off the alert and gone straight back to bed. But, you decided to tweet about instead.

Fifth, don’t be a douche, think about the family that has had their lives torn apart.

Lastly, delete the post because it makes you look like an asshole.
