Advice For Journalists (Don't Watch)

Maybe the last person Journalists should be taking advice from, but for some reason KRIV (Houston) Anchor Caroline Collins thought she should be giving advice to aspiring Journalists.

Collins posted a YouTube video and made sure the kids know that she is working in Houston, which is the 7th market, and “it takes a lot of work to get here.”

A lot of work, or a lot of TikTok dancing?

I’ll be honest, the video is over 10 minutes, but I only made it 45 seconds and didn’t see it after that.

There are plenty of outstanding Journalists out there, they venture into the field and bring back solid stories, those are the ones you should seek advice from. Has Caroline Collins even done a package in the field in the last 5 years?

Watch for the entertainment value, but if you’re looking for advice, seek out someone that cares about Journalism and not what pair of shoes they should wear.
