Fox Loses Some of its Soul

Fox continues to make cuts…

Fox Soul, the live-streaming network geared towards Black audiences, has fired its general manager and canceled several shows amid a massive restructuring.

As part of the changes, D’Artagnan Bebel has been named general manager and head of programming for the streaming platform. But, he will continue in his role as SVP/GM of KRIV in Houston.

That’s the station that hired TikTok dancer Caroline Collins as a main-Anchor.

“I am excited about the opportunity to help grow Fox Soul into a brand that is reflective of the diversity within; and that the African-American community can be proud of,” Bebel said. “The Black community is far from being homogeneous, and Fox Soul will hope to serve as a vehicle for the greater good by recognizing those who may go unrecognized. We will constantly be refining and developing this network to make it something the community loves.”

He replaces current general manager James DuBose.
